membership Application

The NY Skyliners Alumni Drum & Bugle Corps is currently accepting applications from all interested individuals. We are an All-Age exhibition organization dedicated to making great music and having fun doing it. We are open to any horn player, percussionist, rifle or silk performer who has the time, enthusiasm and energy to commit to a comfortable schedule with the greatest drum and bugle corps of all time. Most members have some prior musical or performing experience with a high school or college marching band, a DCI or DCA drum and bugle corps, winter guard, dance troupe or other ensemble.

REQUIRED

1 Desire to have a great time

2 Desire to play some of the best music ever written for drum corps

3 Desire to meet and make new friends

DESIRED

1A former member in good standing of any DCI, DCA, high school or college band or just a willingness to learn.

2Willingness to commit to a comfortable rehearsal / appearance schedule.

3Willing to fill any spot assigned by either Music or Percussion Instructors.

The 2012 an annual membership fee is $50 with a one-time, refundable uniform deposit of $75, which includes a shako, plume, uniform pants, uniform top, parade golf shirt, and parade golf hat, but does not include White Bucks with black soles, which must be purchased by the new member.
